The Ultraflex V23 is a 400 mm stainless-steel marine steering wheel supplied for helms using the standard 3/4-inch tapered shaft. Its diameter suits compatible mechanical and hydraulic helm installations whose manufacturer allows a 400 mm wheel.

CHECK BOTH INTERFACE AND LOAD: A matching 3/4in taper is essential, but the helm must also permit a 400 mm wheel diameter. Do not select by appearance alone.

Compatibility / Fitment Guide

Direct fit criteria: steering helm with a standard 3/4in tapered shaft, compatible key/nut arrangement, and a manufacturer-permitted wheel diameter of at least 400 mm. Check spoke/rim clearance to the dash, throttle and windscreen through the full rotation.

Examples: the Ultraflex T85 mechanical system permits up to 406 mm, so V23 is within its diameter limit when the taper and installation geometry match. Other Ultraflex, Teleflex/SeaStar or hydraulic helms may share the taper, but their shaft, keyway, nut and maximum-wheel specifications must be checked individually.

Not compatible without an adaptor: splined, keyed straight-bore or non-3/4in helm shafts. No adaptor is included or implied.
