Choose fluid for the system, not colour alone
Use the exact fluid type, viscosity and manufacturer approval stated in the steering, trim or hydraulic-system manual. ATF, central hydraulic fluid, ISO hydraulic oils and dedicated marine steering fluids are not universally interchangeable.
