Confirmed Multiflex cable families: EC-033 universal 33C, EC-133 and EC-133R premium universal, EC-043 and EC-016. The throttle and shift cable lengths, end terminals and engine adaptor kit must match the engine.
Mounting: install on a strong horizontal console surface with enough below-panel depth for the mechanism and broad cable bends. Confirm handle sweep, neutral position and access before cutting the aperture.
Engine compatibility: not determined by brand or horsepower alone. Verify required push/pull direction, cable travel and engine attachment hardware. Mercury C5 Gen I and C36 Gen II are different cable interfaces and are not directly claimed.
Electrical: wire the neutral-safety circuit according to the engine diagram and test that starting is inhibited in forward and reverse. No power trim/tilt switch is claimed for LM-V-3.
