No. The automatic float switch is built into the pump.

What hose size should I use?

19 mm (3/4 in) internal-diameter bilge hose, with as few restrictions as possible.

Is 600 GPH the actual flow?

No. It is the nominal rating; lift height, hose length, bends and fittings reduce real-world output.
