How do I know if it is compatible?

Measure the outside diameter of your rail. This clamp is precisely sized for 7/8 inch (22mm) tubing. It will not fit 1 inch or 3/4 inch rails.

What is the benefit of the 'Standard Clamp' design?

The "Standard Clamp" (or jaw slide) allows you to add a new support pole or accessory to your Bimini top without taking the entire frame apart. Simply open the clamp, place it over the tube, and tighten the screw.
