How do I know if it is compatible?
This is a universal transom-mount bracket. It fits most flat boat transoms. Ensure your engine’s total dry weight does not exceed 30kg (66 lbs) for safe operation.
Can I use this for a 4-stroke motor?
Yes, however, 4-stroke engines are significantly heavier than 2-strokes. Most 15-20HP 4-strokes exceed 45kg and are NOT compatible. This bracket is best suited for small 4-strokes (up to ~6HP) that weigh under 30kg.
