Questions & Answers
What boat length is the 18 mm line intended for?
Lalizas gives a guide of approximately 15-20 m. This is not a working-load certification; confirm vessel displacement, cleat loads, berth exposure and the full mooring arrangement.
Is the breaking load a safe working load?
No. 4000 kg is the breaking load; the safe working load is considerably lower. Inspect regularly for abrasion, UV damage and cuts.
What is included?
One 8 m x 18 mm black shock-absorbing mooring line with a loop at one end.
