Rated up to 7HP two-stroke or 4HP four-stroke
A removable transom bracket with a 240 × 200 × 40 mm mounting pad for a small Seagull or similar auxiliary outboard within the stated rating. Suitability depends on engine mass, thrust, transom structure and shaft-height geometry as well as horsepower.

Compatibility / Fitment Guide
Use only on a sound transom or reinforced mounting area capable of carrying the engine’s static weight plus starting, steering, wave and propeller-thrust loads.
| Engine limit | Maximum 7 HP two-stroke or 4 HP four-stroke, subject also to the bracket’s allowable engine weight. Check the engine nameplate/manual mass; modern four-strokes can be substantially heavier. |
| Clamp pad | Confirm the engine clamps open around a 40 mm pad and land fully within the 240 × 200 mm face. The clamp screws must clear the bracket structure. |
| Shaft height | With the bracket fitted, the anti-ventilation plate should sit at the height specified by the engine maker relative to the hull bottom. Verify short/long-shaft compatibility before drilling. |
| Transom mounting | Compare the four-hole pattern to the available flat area. Use through-bolts, large backing plates and marine sealant appropriate to the transom; do not rely on screws into a thin skin. |
| Movement and removal | Check full steering, tilt, propeller and tiller clearance. Fit an independent engine safety cable; the removable feature is not a substitute for secondary retention. |
| Not suitable for | Engines above the stated rating, cracked/soft transoms, planing loads outside the bracket design, or installations where the propeller can contact the hull or rudder. |

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I fit a 7HP four-stroke?
No. The stated four-stroke limit is 4 HP.
Does horsepower alone determine fit?
No. Engine weight, clamp opening, thrust, shaft length and transom strength all matter.
Are bolts included?
The live product data does not confirm transom fasteners; select marine-grade hardware for the actual transom construction.
Can it be mounted to a thin GRP skin?
Not without suitable structural reinforcement and backing.
Have the transom and installation assessed by a competent boatbuilder or marine engineer if there is any doubt. Re-torque and inspect the bracket, backing and safety cable regularly.
