General-purpose marine washdown kit

A 12V on-demand diaphragm washdown system for cleaning decks, fish boxes, anchor wells, dinghies and equipment. The pump provides up to 3.0GPM at open flow, stops at 70PSI and starts automatically when the spray-gun trigger is squeezed.

Applications and compatibility

• For washdown on 12V fishing boats, RIBs, yachts, motorboats and small workboats.
• Suitable for rinsing salt, mud, fish residue and general deck dirt using fresh or salt water.
• Check that 3.0GPM and 70PSI suit the intended spray duty and that the electrical system can support the 18A maximum load.
• Not for potable-water supply, fuel, solvents or continuous industrial service.

Installation and package contents

• Mount the pump dry and ventilated, use an inlet strainer and keep suction plumbing short and airtight.
• Use fittings and hose rated for 70PSI; fit correct seacock and anti-siphon protection for a below-waterline pickup.
• Wire through correctly rated circuit protection and a switch/relay sized for the 18A maximum draw.
• Kit includes the 12V pump, spray gun and 6.5m coiled hose. Confirm the inlet strainer, adapters and fasteners against the supplied pack.

Yes. This 33 Series kit includes a 6.5m UV-protected coiled hose.

Can it pump seawater?

Yes. It is suitable for fresh- and salt-water washdown.

Does it stop when the spray gun closes?

Yes. The pressure switch stops the pump when the system reaches its shut-off pressure.

Is it intended for continuous duty?

No. It is an intermittent-duty washdown pump.
