24V automatic demand water-pressure pump
The SEAFLO 51 Series five-chamber diaphragm pump supplies pressurised water on demand in 24V systems. Opening a tap drops system pressure and the built-in switch starts the pump; closing the outlet allows pressure to rise to the 60 PSI shut-off point and stops it. The 4.0 GPM version is intended for higher-demand onboard fresh-water systems and can serve up to four fixtures when the plumbing design is suitable.
Suitable boats and systems
- 24V motor yachts, sailing yachts and cruisers supplying galley taps, washbasins and showers from an onboard tank.
- Workboats and larger cabin boats requiring an automatic domestic-water pump.
- 24V motorhomes, expedition vehicles and remote cabins with a holding-tank water system.
- Suitable for new or replacement pressure-water installations where 15.1 LPM open flow, 60 PSI shut-off pressure and 1/2-14 MNPT ports match the system.
- Not a bilge, fuel-transfer, sewage or macerator pump. Do not select it as a washdown pump unless the complete system and fluid compatibility are confirmed.

Check before ordering and installing
- Confirm a 24V DC supply and size the fuse, cable and isolation switch for the manufacturer's 7 A maximum draw and the actual cable run.
- Confirm both plumbing connections are 1/2-14 MNPT and use compatible adaptors, flexible hose and a clean inlet strainer.
- Mount in a dry, ventilated, serviceable location on a solid surface; protect the pump from freezing.
- The pump can tolerate dry running during normal workloads, but it should not be deliberately left running without water or with a blocked inlet.
- 60 PSI is a high shut-off pressure. Check that hoses, taps, calorifier/water heater, accumulator (if fitted) and fittings are rated for the system pressure.
- Package: one SEAFLO 51 Series pump. Strainer, hose, plumbing adaptors, fuse and isolation hardware are not stated as included.
Frequently asked questions
Does it need a separate pressure switch?
No. This model has an integrated automatic demand pressure switch.
Does it need an accumulator tank?
SEAFLO states that the 51 Series is designed to operate without one. An accumulator may still be used where the system designer wants smoother flow or reduced cycling.
Can it run four outlets at once?
The manufacturer states up to four fixtures, but simultaneous performance depends on pipe size, lift, restrictions and each outlet's demand.
Can I replace a 12V pump with this unit?
No. This is a 24V DC model. Voltage, flow, pressure, ports, current capacity and installation space must all match.
