Compact high-pressure, low-flow demand pump

The SEAFLO SFDP1-005-070-23A is a 12V DC diaphragm pump delivering up to 0.5 GPM (1.9 L/min) with a 70 PSI shut-off setting. Its low flow and relatively high pressure suit compact sprayer, misting and single-outlet water systems rather than high-volume domestic supply.

The built-in pressure switch starts the pump when downstream pressure falls and stops it when the outlet closes. Suitable applications include small boat or RV sprayers, controlled wash points and compatible equipment feeds.

Compatibility and installation checks

• Use only with a 12V DC supply and protect the circuit for the 1.8 A maximum draw.
• Every hose, valve, filter, nozzle and fitting must tolerate at least 70 PSI; ordinary low-pressure caravan fittings may not be suitable.
• Confirm the quick-connect port type and supplied adapters before replacing another pump.
• Install an inlet strainer, keep the suction line airtight and mount the pump in a dry ventilated service area.
• The 0.5 GPM flow is intended for one low-demand outlet; it is not appropriate for showers or multiple domestic taps.
• Not submersible and not suitable for bilge water, fuel, oil, sewage or abrasive liquid.
• Package: one 23A Series pump. Confirm pictured connectors; hose, strainer, fuse and main wiring may be separate.

Does it switch off when the outlet closes?

Yes. The integrated pressure switch stops the pump at the specified shut-off pressure.

Can it supply a shower?

The 1.9 L/min flow is generally too low for a normal shower; this pump is intended for low-flow high-pressure duties.

Can it replace any 12V pump?

No. Compare flow, 70 PSI pressure, current, ports, dimensions and the pressure rating of the entire system.

Can it be mounted inside a water tank?

No. It is not a submersible pump and must be installed in a dry, accessible position.
