Heavy-duty 24V capacity for large-volume bilge drainage

The SEAFLO SFBP2-G3000-01 is a 24V DC, 3000 GPH non-automatic submersible bilge pump for larger yachts, motorboats, fishing vessels and workboats requiring high-volume drainage. The 40 mm outlet is designed to move substantial flow with less hose restriction than smaller-bore systems.

The pump does not include an automatic level sensor. Use a separate panel switch, suitably rated float switch, contactor or control system designed for the installation current.

Heavy-duty marine construction

  • High-capacity centrifugal pump with sealed, efficient motor for demanding bilge service.
  • Snap-off strainer base gives access for inspection and debris removal.
  • Fully submersible construction with anti-airlock protection.
  • Moisture-tight seals and blocked marine-grade wiring.
  • One-metre 18 AWG leads supplied from the pump.
  • Pump and automatic/manual control equipment are separate components.
  • Designed to meet CE, RoHS, ISO 8846 and ISO 8849 requirements.

Boat compatibility and installation checks

  • For 24V DC marine systems only; do not connect directly to a different nominal voltage.
  • 3000 GPH is an open-flow rating. Installed output falls with vertical lift, hose length, bore, bends, fittings and restrictions.
  • Use reinforced smooth-bore hose matched to the 40 mm outlet, keep the run short and rising, and provide anti-siphon protection where required.
  • Size the fuse, switching device and marine-grade cable for up to 9.0 A, allowing for cable length and voltage drop.
  • Mount the strainer at the lowest practical point, keep it accessible for cleaning and test the complete system regularly.
  • Use only for bilge water. It is not suitable for fuel, oil, sewage, drinking water or abrasive liquids.
  • Package: one 01 Series heavy-duty pump with snap-off strainer base. Float switch/control gear, hose, fuse, through-hull and main wiring are separate.

Frequently asked questions

Is this pump automatic?

No. The pump and switch are separate; add a correctly rated control arrangement.

Why is a 40 mm hose important?

Reducing the outlet bore can severely restrict flow, increase losses and defeat the purpose of a high-capacity pump.

Does 3000 GPH represent installed performance?

No. It is the nominal open-flow rating. Use the performance curve and total discharge head when sizing the system.

Can it replace a smaller bilge pump?

Only after checking the vessel's 24V capacity, 9 A maximum draw, fuse/cable size, 40 mm plumbing, mounting space and discharge arrangement.
