Applications and compatibility
- For ventilating 24V boat engine spaces, bilges, heads, galleys and enclosed lockers through a designed duct system.
- Suitable for motorboats, yachts and workboats with a 24V DC supply and airflow requirement within the blower’s capacity.
- Ignition protection supports marine compartment use, but installation must still follow the vessel builder’s ventilation and fuel-system requirements.
- Not a liquid pump and not intended to be submerged or used as a general-purpose cabin heater fan.
Installation and package contents
- Mount above normal bilge-water level on a secure surface, with the airflow arrow aligned to the exhaust route.
- Use correctly sized, supported marine ventilation ducting and keep runs short with gentle bends to preserve airflow.
- Wire through a 3A fuse and suitable 24V switch using marine-grade cable; isolate power before servicing.
- Package contains one SEAFLO 01 Series centrifugal blower. Ducting, vents, clamps, switch and wiring accessories are not stated as included. Confirm mounting and duct connection dimensions before ordering.
Frequently asked questions
Is this the 12V version?
No. This listing is for the 24V model.
Can it ventilate a petrol-engine compartment?
The blower is ignition protected, but the complete ventilation installation must comply with the vessel manufacturer’s and applicable marine safety requirements.
Can the blower be mounted in the bilge water?
No. It moves air and should be mounted dry and above the normal bilge-water level.
Does 130CFM remain available through any duct run?
No. Long, narrow or sharply bent ducting increases resistance and reduces delivered airflow.
