High-water warning for unattended compartments
The SEAFLO SFWAS1-20-02 is a dedicated 12V DC high-water bilge alarm kit for boats, yachts and other marine installations. A protected non-mercury float switch monitors the compartment and triggers both a bright visual warning and an audible alarm rated at 95 dB or higher.
Use it as an independent safety warning in a bilge, machinery space, lazarette or other compartment where rising water must be detected promptly. It warns the crew; it does not remove water and does not replace a correctly sized bilge pump.

Boat compatibility and installation checks

- Mount the switch level and clear of hoses, wiring, sludge and moving equipment; test both activation and reset levels before service.
- Protect the supply with the correctly rated fuse and marine-grade cable for the circuit design and cable run.
- Keep the panel/alarm in a visible, audible and suitably protected location; the float switch belongs in the monitored compartment.

Frequently asked questions
Does this kit pump water out of the bilge?
No. It is a warning system. A separate bilge pump and discharge installation are required.
Can it be connected to a 24V boat?
Not directly. This model is 12V DC; use the corresponding 24V version for a 24V supply.
Why are there two water levels?
The higher level activates the warning and the lower level resets it, reducing rapid on/off cycling around one point.
Can it be used with any float switch?
Use the supplied switch or verify the replacement's voltage, switching method, current rating, activation levels and wiring before installation.
