Low-profile automatic bilge pump with periodic sensing
The SEAFLO SFBP2-G1100-14B is a 24V DC, 1100 GPH timer-sensing automatic bilge pump for narrow or awkward spaces. It checks for water approximately every 2.5 minutes by running briefly; if water resistance is detected, it continues pumping until the bilge is drained.
The horizontal low-profile design suits 24V yachts, motorboats, fishing craft and workboats where a traditional upright pump or external float switch will not fit.
Timer sensing and low-profile design
- No separate float switch required for normal automatic operation.
- Checks for water approximately every 2.5 minutes, running for about half a second.
- Low-profile strainer can leave the bilge drained to approximately 10 mm.
- Horizontal or vertical mounting with 360-degree rotating discharge.
- Straight outlets for 19, 25 and 29 mm hose plus a 19 mm elbow configuration.
- Check valve helps reduce discharge-line backflow.
- Snap-fit body, replaceable motor cartridge, sealed wiring, stainless-steel shaft and anti-airlock protection.
- Designed to meet CE, RoHS, ISO 8846 and ISO 8849 requirements.

Boat compatibility and installation checks
- For 24V DC vessels only; the periodic sensing cycle creates a recurring electrical demand while monitoring.
- 1100 GPH is the nominal open-flow rating. Actual flow decreases with lift, hose length and restrictions.
- Use smooth-bore reinforced hose matching the selected outlet and provide anti-siphon protection where required.
- Fit correctly sized circuit protection and marine cable and keep the strainer accessible.
- This is the 14B timer-sensing model, not the 14A water-level sensor or 14C non-automatic pump.
- Consider battery capacity carefully on unattended or stored vessels because the pump checks periodically.
- Package: one 14B pump with discharge/check-valve fittings as supplied. Hose, fuse and main wiring are separate.
Frequently asked questions
Does it use a float switch?
No. It periodically runs the impeller to detect water resistance.
Does it draw power when the bilge is dry?
Yes. The brief sensing cycle occurs approximately every 2.5 minutes.
Is it the same as the 14A model?
No. The 14A uses water-level sensing; this 14B version uses periodic timer sensing.
Can it be installed on a 12V boat?
No. This listing is the 24V version.
