24V automatic water-level-sensing bilge pump
The SEAFLO SFBP2-G800-14A is a narrow, low-profile automatic bilge pump with an integrated water-level sensor. It starts and stops as the bilge water level rises and falls, without requiring a separate float switch. The body and discharge rotate through 360 degrees, allowing horizontal or vertical mounting in shallow or awkward bilge spaces.
14A uses water-level sensing. It is different from the 14B timer-sensing version and the 14C non-automatic version.
Suitable boats and bilge arrangements
- 24V motor yachts, sailing yachts, cruisers, fishing boats and workboats with narrow, shallow or obstructed bilges.
- Useful below engines, in keel sumps, lazarettes and machinery compartments where an upright pump/float combination will not fit.
- Suitable for automatic nuisance-water removal where an integrated sensor is preferred.
- May form part of a multi-pump arrangement, but pump selection must consider ingress rate, discharge head, redundancy, alarm and battery capacity.
- Not for fuel, oil, sewage or continuous dry operation.

Compatibility and installation checks
- Confirm the boat is 24V DC and that this is the required 14A water-sensing version.
- Select the outlet and hose bore to suit the discharge route; installed flow falls with vertical lift, hose length and bends.
- Provide the manufacturer-specified fuse, marine cable and an accessible isolation switch.
- Route the through-hull above the loaded waterline and add anti-siphon protection where the hose layout requires it.
- Keep the strainer and sensor area clean and accessible; test automatic operation and a separate high-water alarm regularly.
- Package: one SEAFLO 14A pump with the manufacturer-listed outlet arrangements/check valve. Hose, fuse, alarm and through-hull are separate.
Frequently asked questions
Does it need a separate float switch?
No. The 14A version has integrated water-level sensing.
Is it the timer-sensing model?
No. Timer sensing is the 14B version. This 14A model reacts to water level.
Can it run on 12V?
No. This specific model is rated for 24V DC.
Is 800 GPH the installed flow?
800 GPH is the nominal open-flow rating; head, hose length, bends and fittings reduce real discharge.
