Compact automatic bilge pumping without a float switch
The SEAFLO SFBP1-G600-13B is a 12V DC, 600 GPH electronic-sensing automatic bilge pump. It briefly turns the impeller approximately every 2.5 minutes; if water resistance is present, the pump continues running until the water is removed.
It suits small yachts, motorboats, RIBs, tenders and fishing craft where compact automatic monitoring is required and 600 GPH nominal capacity is appropriate.
Electronic sensing and service features
- No external float switch required for normal automatic use.
- Checks approximately every 2.5 minutes by running for about half a second.
- Continues pumping when water is detected through impeller resistance.
- Quick-connect motor cartridge can be removed without disturbing base or plumbing.
- Integrated check valve helps reduce backflow.
- Submersible and ignition protected with stainless-steel shaft, sealed tinned wiring and anti-airlock design.
- Removable discharge fitting and replaceable motor module.
- Designed to meet CE, RoHS, ISO 8846 and ISO 8849 requirements.

Boat compatibility and installation checks
- For 12V DC vessels only; periodic monitoring creates a small recurring battery load.
- 600 GPH is the nominal open-flow rating. Installed flow falls with lift, hose length, bore and fittings.
- Confirm the supplied discharge adapter before replacing another pump or ordering hose.
- Use a suitable fuse and marine-grade cable and keep the strainer accessible for cleaning.
- This 13B pump uses periodic impeller sensing; it does not use a conventional float switch.
- Not suitable for fuel, oil, sewage, drinking water or abrasive liquids.
- Package: one 13B automatic pump with base/check-valve discharge parts. Hose, fuse and main wiring are separate.
Frequently asked questions
Does it require a separate float switch?
No. It uses periodic electronic sensing through the impeller.
Will it use power in a dry bilge?
Yes. It runs briefly at regular intervals to check for water.
Can it be used on 24V?
No. This product is the 12V model.
Is the 600 GPH rating measured after installation?
No. It is the nominal open-flow rating; installed flow will be lower.
