Correct. Because this pump uses variable speed control, it can maintain constant pressure by spinning the motor slower or faster as needed, which performs the same function as an accumulator tank.

Can I use this with salt water?

While constructed with corrosion-resistant materials, the 56A series is specifically optimized for fresh water pressure systems. For high-pressure salt water washdown, we recommend the Seaflo 51-Series Washdown kits.
