How do I know if it is compatible?

This base is specifically designed for 25mm (1 inch) outer diameter tubing. If your rail measures 25mm OD, this base will provide a secure, tight-tolerance fit.

Will this rust in saltwater?

No. Because this is cast from 316-grade stainless steel (also known as A4 marine grade), it is specifically alloyed with Molybdenum to prevent pitting and corrosion in saltwater environments.

Note: Mounting hardware (screws/bolts) is not included as standard. We recommend using M5 or M6 A4 stainless steel fixings for installation.
