Power trim and tilt motor for selected Yamaha F150-F250 outboards

A reversible 12V replacement motor for selected Yamaha Showa-style hydraulic power-trim units. It uses a two-wire blue/green connection, ring terminals and a three-bolt mounting flange.

Best used for: restoring electric hydraulic trim and tilt on compatible offshore boats, RIBs, fishing boats and sports craft using the listed Yamaha four-stroke outboards.

Engine compatibility and trim-unit checks

  • Yamaha F150 and LF150: selected applications from approximately 2004 onward using a listed 63P/6KW trim motor.
  • Includes selected F150JA, F150LA, F150XA, F150TJR, F150TLR and F150TXR variants only where serial and trim-unit details match.
  • Selected Yamaha F130, F175, F200, F225 and F250 applications may share this motor; verify the original reference and three-bolt Showa configuration.
  • Not for two-bolt or four-bolt motors, different terminal types or trim pumps using a different shaft/tang.

Compatibility rule: match the original OEM reference, 12V two-wire system, bolt count and spacing, shaft/tang, connector style and trim-pump manufacturer. Engine model or appearance alone is not sufficient.

  • Yamaha: 63P-43880-01-00, 63P-43880-10, -11, -12, -21 and -22.
  • Yamaha: 6KW-43880-00-00, 6KW-43880-01-00 where confirmed by engine serial and trim-unit model.
  • ARCO Marine: 6293; Arrowhead/J&N: 430-22162; API/Arrowhead: TRM0111.

Before fitting: support the outboard safely, isolate the battery, lower system pressure as instructed by the manufacturer and compare the old motor, flange, shaft and wiring with the replacement.

Installation: inspect the hydraulic fluid and mating surface, use the correct seal and manufacturer torque values, then bleed and test the trim system through its full travel. Professional marine installation is recommended.

Package contents: one new replacement trim/tilt motor. Reuse or replace seals, fasteners and hydraulic fluid according to the service manual; only parts explicitly shown and stated are included.

Will this fit every Yamaha F150?

No. Confirm the full engine serial, original trim-motor number, three-bolt flange, two-wire system, terminals and shaft dimensions.

Can it replace a two-bolt or four-bolt motor?

No. This listing is specifically for the compatible three-bolt configuration.

Which wire controls up and down?

The two-wire motor reverses direction by reversing polarity through the vessel's trim relays. Follow the Yamaha wiring diagram rather than connecting it directly.

Does it include a complete hydraulic pump?

No. This listing supplies the electric trim motor only, not the complete hydraulic manifold, pump, rams or relays.
