This is a premium Navalloy® replacement part from Performance Metals. It is manufactured to meet or exceed original Yamaha specifications and provides better protection in varied water types than the factory zinc parts.

Why should I choose Aluminum over Zinc?

Aluminum (Navalloy) has a higher electrical potential than zinc. It provides better protection, lasts longer, and is the only material recommended for boats that move between salt and brackish/fresh water.

How do I know when to replace it?

This anode includes a patented red wear indicator dot. When the dot appears on the surface, the anode has sacrificed 75% of its mass and should be replaced to ensure continued protection.
