A Brilliant Outboard Thumbscrew Lock, this powder-coated black bar easily slides over BOTH thumbscrews and has a Robust Marine padlock that is completely protected inside the bar at one end. In the picture, there is a Master Lock on the engine with the padlock left hanging down slightly so you can see it and then there is one in its packing underneath. This bar fits over nearly all thumbscrews Mercury, Mariner, Yamaha, Suzuki, Johnson, Evinrude, Tohatsu, Honda, Nissan but alas not ALL Seagulls !! IT DOES NOT FIT MOTORS THAT HAVE THE T BAR TYPE SCREW SUCH AS SOME 2 HP HONDA MOTORS AND THE SUZUKI DF 2.5
This lock comes with 3 self-adhesive padded strips you can pit on the inside of the bar to stop rattling, it also has end caps at both ends, the one at the open end is easily removed.
