The Master Lock No. 430 Outboard Motor Lock is a heavy-duty security solution designed to protect your marine engine from theft. This universal lock fits over the mounting toggle bolts (wing nuts) of your outboard, preventing them from being turned and ensuring the motor remains securely attached to the transom.

MARINE GRADE: Constructed from case-hardened steel with a vinyl coating to withstand harsh saltwater environments and prevent rattling during operation.

Is this a genuine original part?

This is a genuine Master Lock product, specifically designed for marine environments and outboard motor security.

How do I know if it is compatible?

If your outboard is held onto the boat transom by two hand-tightened wing screws (toggle bolts), this lock will slide over them to prevent them from being loosened. It is typically suitable for engines up to 40HP.

Can the lock be cut easily?

The tube is made of case-hardened steel, and the padlock body is recessed inside the tube, making it extremely difficult for bolt cutters or saws to gain purchase on the shackle.

Note: Please ensure your clamp screws are turned to the horizontal position before fitting the 430 series lock. Available at 4boats.co.uk.
