Rope compatibility: intended for 10–12 mm mooring rope. Pass the rope through the end holes and wind sufficient turns around the compensator body in accordance with the line arrangement; more wraps generally engage more of the elastic body.
Application check: suitable for properly sized bow, stern or spring lines on a berth where the vessel load and rope specification are appropriate. Line diameter, breaking load, stretch, chafe points and cleat capacity must be selected for the boat—not from compensator size alone.
