This is an original Momentum Electric Marine outboard motor, engineered specifically for high-efficiency marine propulsion.

How do I know if it is compatible?

Check your transom height. Use the Short Shaft (15") for standard tenders and the Long Shaft (20") for larger boats or sailboats. The motor supports vessels up to 2.5 tonnes.

Can I use an external battery for more range?

Yes. While the U2 includes a 1.4kWh integrated battery, it can also be connected to external 48V battery banks to boost power output to 3.0kW and significantly extend your runtime.

Note: Performance data (speed and range) is dependent on boat weight, hull shape, and environmental conditions. Always consult your boat manufacturer's shaft length recommendations.
