The Marinco AFI 1000 Series motor is a sealed 12 V marine windscreen-wiper drive with a 2.5-inch shaft and factory-set 80° sweep. The sweep can be configured to 50°, 65° or 80°, and the self-park position can be set for left- or right-hand parking.

Compatibility / Fitment Guide
Direct application: 12 V marine windscreen installations that accept a 2.5in shaft, 0.625in / 16 mm shaft diameter and one of the selectable 50°, 65° or 80° sweep arcs. Check that the blade remains within the glass and frame throughout the chosen arc. The motor is rated to power an AFI Deluxe arm/blade combination up to 18in at an 80° sweep or less.
Not a direct substitute for: 24 V motors; AFI 1000 versions with a 1.5in shaft; 110° factory-sweep versions; or systems requiring two-speed, pantograph or synchronised operation. A control switch is not included. Confirm mounting-hole pattern, available depth behind the panel, shaft projection through the bulkhead, park side and arm attachment before installation.

Can it replace a 1.5in-shaft motor?
Only if the mounting panel and required shaft projection suit the longer 2.5in version; measure before ordering.
Important: Wiper geometry is installation-specific. Verify shaft projection, blade length, sweep clearance and park direction before energising the motor.
