Rotation-moulded Majoni round fender measuring approximately 45cm × 62cm.

Its spherical profile provides a broad contact area for alongside berthing, rafting and exposed marina positions where a cylindrical fender may offer insufficient stand-off.

Boat and berth applications

• Suitable for motorboats, sailing yachts, fishing boats and larger leisure craft.
• Useful for exposed berths, piles, rafting alongside another boat and positions with a large tidal range.
• Boat-length guidance is approximate. Select fender size and quantity for hull weight, freeboard, berth geometry and expected conditions.
• Hang the fender so the widest section protects the actual contact point.
• Use correctly sized marine rope and do not rely on one fender to protect the complete hull.

Inflation and care

• Fenders may be supplied partially or fully deflated for transport.
• Use a Majoni-compatible valve adaptor and inflate gradually; do not over-pressurise.
• The fender should remain slightly compressible so it can absorb impact.
• Rinse after salt-water use and inspect the body, valve and attachment eye regularly.
• Do not use as a certified lifting device, mooring buoy or lifesaving appliance.

It is commonly used on boats around 12-14m, but displacement, freeboard, berth and exposure are more important than length alone.
