The Haswing Osapian 55 is a lightweight, compact electric outboard trolling motor for small to medium sized dinghies and inflatables. Suitable for both fresh and salt water, it is supplied with a sacrificial anode, and its folding upper body and collapsible handle save space on board and for storage or transport. Holes in the clamp screw allow a padlock to secure the motor to the transom.

PRECISION CONTROL: Twist-grip speed control with 5 forward and 3 reverse speeds, plus a telescopic handle that extends up to 350mm for comfortable reach.

What battery is recommended for this motor?

A 12V deep cycle (leisure) battery. Based on the manufacturer's field test, a fully charged 12V 105Ah battery runs for about 1.5 hours at maximum speed; use a higher-capacity battery for longer running time. Battery not included.

Is this motor safe for use in saltwater?

Yes, it is supplied with a sacrificial anode and is suitable for both salt and fresh water. We recommend rinsing the motor with fresh water after use in salt water.

How loud is the motor during operation?

The sound level is under 50dB, making it well suited to approaching fishing spots quietly.
