What battery is recommended for this motor?

We recommend a 12V 100Ah or 105Ah Deep Cycle (Leisure) battery for optimal running time. Standard automotive batteries are not recommended for trolling motors.

Is this motor safe for use in saltwater?

Yes, the Osapian range is equipped with a sacrificial anode and stainless steel hardware for saltwater use. However, we strongly recommend rinsing the motor with fresh water after every use in salt environments.

How loud is the motor during operation?

The Osapian 55 is designed for stealthy propulsion, operating at a noise level of less than 50 decibels, making it excellent for approaching fishing spots without disturbing the fish.

Note: 4boats.co.uk recommends verifying your vessel's transom depth before purchase to ensure the 90cm shaft provides adequate propeller submersion.
