This 12V motor delivers 55lbs of thrust and up to 660W of power, making it an excellent choice for small to medium-sized dinghies, tenders and inflatables. Its compact design and 66cm (26-inch) short shaft suit vessels up to 5.5 metres with a maximum load of 400kg.

Whether you're an angler wanting a silent approach to fishing spots or a leisure boater after clean propulsion, the Osapian 55 performs. The multi-functional telescopic handle gives 5 forward and 3 reverse speeds, with a clear 5-level LED battery indicator. A durable cast aluminium shaft and a sacrificial anode make it suitable for both fresh and saltwater.

DIRECT FIT / KEY SELLING POINT: Lightweight (8.15kg), compact and robust, the Osapian 55 clamps quickly to the transom, with padlock holes on the clamp screws for security, a 10-position tilt bracket and a folding upper body for storage.

What kind of battery do I need for the Haswing Osapian 55?

A 12V deep cycle (leisure) battery is recommended. A fully charged 105Ah battery runs the motor for about 1.5 hours at maximum speed (manufacturer field test); use a higher capacity battery for longer running time. The battery is not included.

Can this trolling motor be used in saltwater?

Yes, the Haswing Osapian 55 is suitable for both fresh and saltwater use and comes with a sacrificial anode. Always rinse the motor with fresh water after saltwater use.
