The Haswing Armada F 8.0 is a fully electric, green alternative to petrol outboards, giving access to restricted lakes and waterways. Recommended for boats up to 9 metres, this 48V brushless motor with gearbox delivers 250lbs of thrust (4320W), comparable to a 10HP petrol outboard. This "F" version is made for boats with a steering wheel and control cables (wheel and cables not included).

RELIABILITY: Long-life, water-cooled brushless motor supplied with a sacrificial anode for use in both salt and fresh water, plus an integral motor fin that protects the prop and motor from underwater impact.

Is this a genuine original part?

Yes, this is a genuine Haswing Armada F 8.0 electric outboard, backed by a 2-year return-to-base warranty in the UK.

How do I know if it is compatible?

Check that your boat has a 48V battery bank (100Ah deep cycle recommended; a larger capacity gives longer running time) and is fitted with a steering wheel and control cable system. If your boat is up to 9m and needs a remote-steered outboard, this is the correct unit. Shaft length is 67cm.

Are the steering wheel and cables included?

No. The motor comes with the external throttle control, magnetic kill switch and circuit breaker, but the steering wheel and control cables must be bought separately to suit your boat's cockpit layout. The battery is not included.

Note: We recommend deep cycle (leisure) lead-acid or lithium batteries. If using lithium, ensure the BMS supports the motor's 90A maximum draw.
