Guidi polished brass deck filler marked DIESEL
A solid polished-brass deck filler with a clearly marked DIESEL cap, slotted opening and three-hole countersunk mounting flange. The 1-1/2in BSP connection and hose-tail arrangement are intended for compatible marine diesel fill systems.
Suitable for: diesel-powered yachts, motorboats, canal boats and workboats requiring a clearly identified polished-brass deck fill point.

Compatibility and selection
- For diesel fuel fill systems only; do not use as a water, petrol or waste deck fitting.
- Confirm deck-cut-out, mounting-hole positions, hose size, thread and clearance below deck.
- Check that the hose, clips, tank venting and bonding/earthing arrangement comply with the vessel's fuel-system design.
- Polished brass naturally changes appearance; ensure the finish is suitable for the surrounding deck hardware.
- Not a substitute for a complete approved fuel-fill and vent system.
Installation, use and package contents
- Fuel-system work should be completed by a competent marine technician in accordance with applicable standards.
- Use fuel-rated hose and clamps and support the hose so the deck fitting does not carry its weight.
- Seal the deck penetration with a fuel-compatible marine bedding compound without blocking drainage or cap operation.
- Pressure/leak-test the completed fill and vent system before fuelling the vessel.
- Clean with fresh water and mild detergent; avoid aggressive abrasives that remove the polished finish.
