Talamex recessed stainless-steel hatch lifting ring
A low-profile folding ring for opening compatible hatches, lockers and access panels. The AISI 304 stainless-steel construction and recessed design keep the handle close to the surface when folded.
Suitable for: interior or sheltered exterior boat hatches, lockers, floor panels and furniture where a recessed hand-operated pull is required.

Selection and compatibility
- Select the exact dimensions and pack quantity from the variant menu before purchase.
- Measure the face plate, recessed body, cut-out depth and surrounding clearance—not only the visible ring.
- AISI 304 is suitable for many marine applications but needs regular rinsing and is less resistant to chloride pitting than AISI 316.
- The supporting hatch or panel must be strong enough for the intended hand-operated opening force.
- Not approved as a lifting eye, safety attachment, towing point, tie-down or person-support fitting.
Installation, use and care
- Mark and check the recess on both sides of the panel before cutting.
- Bed the fitting appropriately if installed where water can penetrate the panel core.
- Use compatible stainless fasteners and isolate dissimilar metals.
- Rinse with fresh water, clean crevices and remove tea staining promptly.
- Inspect the ring, hinge, fasteners and surrounding panel regularly.
