Questions & Answers
Is this a genuine original part?
This is a quality aftermarket emergency ladder, not a branded original-equipment part.
How do I know if it is compatible?
This ladder is universal. Fix the top of the webbing to a sturdy cleat, rail or pushpit. The ladder is 1150mm long, so on higher boats attach a line from the bag handle to nearer the waterline.
Can the person in the water deploy it?
Yes. Pulling the bag handle, or a line attached to it, opens the velcro and releases the ladder.
Note: Please ensure your mounting point is strong enough to support the weight of a person before installation. 4boats.co.uk recommends regular inspection of safety gear.
