This 3-step Emergency Safety Ladder is an essential piece of safety equipment for any vessel, especially for single-handed sailors. It folds into a compact nylon bag, closed by velcro, which fixes to a cleat, rail or pushpit. In a man overboard (MOB) situation, the person in the water pulls the bag handle (or an attached line) to release the ladder and climb back aboard.

How do I know if it is compatible?

The top of the webbing fixes to a cleat, rail or pushpit, so it suits most boats. Make sure the fixing point is strong enough to take a person's weight.

Can the ladder be deployed by someone in the water?

Yes, that is its primary purpose. Pulling the bag handle, or a line attached to it, opens the velcro closure and releases the ladder.

Note: Please verify your mounting location and check that the ladder height (940mm) reaches far enough below your fixing point when deployed.
