Compatibility / Fitment Guide
Confirmed cable interface: two Multiflex SC-16 Easy Connect steering cables. Both cables must be the correct measured length and routed with the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius.
Typical application: double-engine installations where the engines are joined by a correctly specified tie bar/link system. The helm does not itself synchronise two engines; engine spacing, tie-rod travel and steering stops must be engineered as a complete system.
Installation limits: the catalogue lists typical maximum boat lengths of 9 m for outboard and 10.5 m for inboard layouts. Engine power, hull speed, propeller torque and steering geometry can require a different system, including hydraulic steering.
Not compatible: SC-11 thread-connect cables, rack cables or other brands/interfaces are not confirmed. Use a steering wheel with a 3/4 in tapered hub and no more than 400 mm diameter.
