How do I know if it is compatible?

This cap is compatible with all standard DOT Durable Sockets (Line 24). If your existing fasteners are approx. 15mm in diameter, these will fit.

Will the black finish peel off over time?

No. Unlike painted or powder-coated snaps, Black Oxide is a chemical conversion coating. It is integrated into the metal surface and is designed to resist chipping even under extreme pressure and UV exposure.
