Talamex fixed aluminium dock and pontoon boarding ladder
A corrosion-resistant aluminium access ladder with high handrails and grooved steps for climbing between a structurally sound dock or pontoon and the water. Choose the three-step or extended five-step version according to deck height and minimum water level.
Suitable for: fixed pontoons, jetties, swimming platforms, marina berths and private waterside decks where a permanent ladder can be safely installed.

- Measure from the mounting surface to the lowest expected water level, not only today's waterline.
- The lowest usable step must remain safely below water throughout expected tide or seasonal variation.
- The dock structure and backing must support the ladder, user and dynamic climbing loads.
- Confirm underwater clearance from boats, rocks, piles and other hazards.
- This is a dock/pontoon ladder, not automatically suitable for mounting directly to a boat transom.

- Install vertical and square on sound timber, composite, steel or concrete using fasteners and backing specified for that structure.
- Use compatible marine fasteners and isolate aluminium from dissimilar metals to reduce galvanic corrosion.
- Provide a clear handhold and unobstructed approach at the top and bottom.
- Inspect steps, welds, mounting plates, fasteners and the supporting dock regularly.
