Compatibility / Fitment Guide
- Coastal and offshore sailing, motorboating, RIB use, fishing, kayaking and paddlesports; also hiking, climbing and expeditions beyond mobile coverage.
- A personal beacon, not a replacement for a vessel EPIRB where one is required.
- Register the beacon before use with the national 406 MHz beacon authority for the owner’s country, and check the country coding is correct for that authority.
- Check the battery-expiry label on receipt and before every trip. Battery replacement and post-activation servicing must be done by an ACR-authorised service centre.
- Emergency use: deploy the antenna fully, keep it upright with a clear view of the sky, and activate only in grave and imminent danger. Follow the ACR manual.

Questions & Answers
What does the blue flashing light mean?
It is the Return Link Service indication that the distress message has been received and the beacon’s location detected. It does not mean a rescue team has arrived or give an arrival time.
Does it require a subscription?
No recurring subscription is required. The beacon must be correctly coded and registered to its owner.
Does it activate automatically in water?
No. The ResQLink 410 RLS is manually activated.
Can I replace the battery myself?
No. Battery replacement and functional testing must be performed by an ACR-authorised service centre.
