The Lalizas hydrostatic release unit frees an EPIRB from a sinking vessel by hydrostatic pressure at a depth of approx. 1.5-4 m. Made of glass-reinforced nylon, it is designed and tested to LSA requirements and suits most EPIRB models.

Questions & Answers
Is the bolt included?
No. The unit is supplied alone; Lalizas specifies its mounting kit 74580 (bolt and nut), sold separately. The bolt must be replaced together with the unit.
How often must it be replaced?
Two years after installation or four years after manufacture, whichever comes first.
How do I install it?
Remove the old unit, bolt and nut, mark the expiry date on the new unit, then fit it with the new bolt and nut and fasten.
