Yes, this is genuine Lofrans chain. It features the "LFR" marking every 30cm to certify its origin and high-tensile G40 steel construction.
How do I know if I need ISO or DIN chain?
While both look similar, the link dimensions (pitch) differ. 12mm chain is almost exclusively used as ISO 4565 on European windlasses. Always check the marking on your windlass gypsy; it will specify "12mm ISO" or "13mm DIN".
What are the benefits of Grade 40 (G40) over Grade 30?
