A self-righting, buoyant LED strobe that marks a crew-overboard position. When deployed and floating upright, its automatic gravity switch starts the 360° strobe to assist visual location and recovery in darkness or poor visibility. USCG/MED/SOLAS approved.

Compatibility / Fitment Guide
- For lifebuoy and crew-overboard stations on commercial and recreational vessels.
- Mount beside the assigned lifebuoy using the supplied quick-release bracket, and connect it to the lifebuoy with the lanyard arrangement required for the vessel.
- Store inverted in the bracket so the gravity switch stays off.
- Fit only the battery type specified by ACR and follow its replacement instructions; test and inspect per the ACR instructions and the vessel's safety schedule.
- Included: SM-3 light, mounting bracket and instructions. Batteries not included.

Questions & Answers
Does the light activate automatically?
Yes. The gravity switch activates the strobe when the light floats upright after deployment. It is stored inverted in the bracket.
Are the batteries included?
No. Two AA lithium batteries are required and are user replaceable.
Will it replace an older ACR SM-2?
The SM-3 bracket uses the same mounting-hole pattern as the SM-2, simplifying retrofit.
Is it suitable for SOLAS-regulated vessels?
The SM-3 is USCG/MED/SOLAS approved. The vessel operator remains responsible for confirming the exact carriage, installation and inspection requirements.
