Is this a genuine original part?

This is a premium quality aftermarket replacement part manufactured by Multiflex, designed to be fully interchangeable with the Ultraflex M58 series.

How do I correctly measure my required cable length?

Measure the length of the black plastic conduit (jacket) in inches, add 18 inches, and round up to the nearest foot. For a 20ft cable, your plastic jacket should be approximately 18ft 6in.

Can this be used on a 60HP engine?

No. The MT58/M58 series is strictly rated for engines up to 55HP. For 60HP and above, we recommend the Heavy Duty M66 or SC-16 series cables available at 4boats.co.uk.
