How do I know if the 17ft length is correct?
Measure your existing cable's outer jacket from end to end and add 18 inches for the "throw", or measure from the center of the wheel to the gunwale, then to the transom, and then to the engine connection point.
Does it include the engine connection arm?
This kit includes the helm, cable, bezel, and wheel. A steering link arm (Drag Link) is typically engine-specific and is not included in this universal steering kit.
