Overview
Reversible 12V power trim and tilt motor for selected large Yamaha four-stroke and high-pressure direct-injection two-stroke outboards. It uses a two-wire connection and three-bolt mounting flange and must be matched to the original hydraulic pump assembly.

Engine compatibility and OEM references
- Four-stroke: selected F200, F225 from approximately 2002 onward, F250 from approximately 2005 onward and F300 applications within the applicable 2002-2018 family.
- Two-stroke HPDI: selected Z250, Z300, LZ250 and LZ300 applications.

Yamaha used different motors across model suffixes and production ranges. Confirm complete model, serial number, original reference, two-wire connection, three-bolt flange and shaft coupling.
Installation and pre-fit checks
- Support the engine safely, disconnect the battery and relieve hydraulic pressure.
- Compare bolt pattern, shaft coupling, housing, wire length and terminals with the original motor.
- Test battery voltage, trim relays, cabling and hydraulic-pump freedom before fitting.
- Use a new O-ring, clean the mating surface and tighten the three bolts evenly to Yamaha specifications.
- Refill and bleed with the specified fluid, then test the full trim range and inspect for leakage or abnormal current draw.
