Overview

Low-profile red and green LED sidelight set for boats up to 12m.

The white-housing FOS LED 12 pair mounts flush into the port and starboard sides of the bow. Each light provides the required 112.5° sector with 1 nautical mile visibility and only 0.5W power consumption.

Applications and compatibility

For sailing boats, motorboats, RIBs, day boats and fishing craft up to 12m requiring separate flush-mounted port and starboard sidelights.

• Install red on port and green on starboard, each aligned to the vessel centreline.
• Confirm the bow surface has enough recessed depth and access for wiring.
• The 12-15V DC supply, polarity, circuit protection and switching must match the vessel system.
• Do not substitute these 112.5° sidelights for a bi-colour, masthead, stern or all-round light.

Installation and package contents

• Use the supplied adhesive template/flange to mark the recess and screw positions accurately.
• Keep the lens face vertical and align both lights so the sectors are not obscured by rails or hull structure.
• Use marine-grade connections and seal cable entries while avoiding sealant on the optical lens.
• Test the red and green sectors from ahead and abeam after installation.
• Package contains: one red port light and one green starboard light, 0.6m wire leads, mounting screws and double-sided adhesive drilling template.
