This solid brass connector screws into your fuel tank's 1/4" NPT port and gives you a secure quick-connect point for your fuel line. It has the Yamaha-style 2-prong profile: a valved fuel post next to a plain, round-ended locating pin. Brass holds up better than plastic fittings against UV, impact and fuel.

How do I know if it is compatible?

Compare it with your existing tank fitting. This connector has a valved fuel post and a plain, round-ended locating pin. If your locating pin is pointed and has a clip groove, you need the Mercury 1998+ quick-connect fitting instead. Message us if you are unsure – we are happy to help.

Will this fit my plastic fuel tank?

Yes, as long as the tank has a standard 1/4" NPT female port. Use fuel-safe PTFE tape or pipe sealant on the threads so the joint doesn't leak.
