Genuine in-engine fuel-pump strainer for selected Honda-built Tohatsu BFT four-stroke outboards. It is fitted in the fuel-pump / fuel-hose circuit to trap debris before it reaches sensitive fuel-system components.

Honda reference 16911-759-003 appears on selected BF115, BF130, BF135, BF150, BF175, BF200, BF225 and BF250 four-stroke EFI engines. Model suffixes and production ranges differ, so use the engine serial number to select the correct diagram.

Do not confuse this strainer with the engine-mounted water separator or with an external boat fuel filter.

• Confirm the complete engine model and horsepower.
• Record the frame/serial number and production year.
• Locate the fuel-pump / fuel-hose or piping diagram for that serial range.
• Confirm reference H759-16911-003 or Honda 16911-759-003 at the strainer position.
• Check whether the strainer suspension, clips, hoses or O-ring also require replacement.

INSTALLATION NOTES

Fuel systems can retain pressure and contain flammable petrol vapour. Isolate the battery, work in a ventilated area away from ignition sources and follow the factory service procedure. After installation, prime the system and inspect every disturbed connection for leakage before operating the engine.
