Starter motor for selected Yamaha F13.5, F15, F20 and F25 outboards
A compact 12V replacement starter for selected small Yamaha four-stroke outboards using the 6AH starter family. The unit has counter-clockwise rotation, an 11-tooth pinion and a 0.3kW permanent-magnet direct-drive motor.
Best used for: electric-start repair on compatible tenders, inflatables, fishing boats, day boats and auxiliary-powered yachts using the listed Yamaha four-stroke engines.

Compatibility rule: confirm the complete engine model, year/serial range, voltage, rotation, pinion, mounting arrangement and an OEM reference. Horsepower or appearance alone is not sufficient.

Will it convert my manual-start engine to electric start?
Not by itself. A conversion may also require flywheel, relay/solenoid, loom, switchgear, charging and mounting components specified by Yamaha.
Does it fit every Yamaha F15 or F20?
No. Match the complete model code, serial range, original reference, 11-tooth pinion and mounting configuration.
Is it suitable for a Yamaha F25?
Only selected models using the same 6AH starter family. Do not order by horsepower alone.
