Power trim motor for selected Johnson/Evinrude 200-250HP four-strokes

A reversible 12V replacement motor for selected Suzuki-built Johnson and Evinrude V6 four-stroke power trim/tilt assemblies. This version uses a two-wire connection and four-bolt mounting base.

Best used for: restoring hydraulic trim and tilt on compatible RIBs, fishing boats, sports boats and workboats with the listed Suzuki-built Johnson/Evinrude four-stroke outboards.

Engine compatibility and exclusions

  • Selected Johnson/Evinrude 200HP, 225HP and 250HP Suzuki-built four-strokes, approximately 2004-2011, using a listed OEM motor.
  • Related Suzuki DF200, DF225 and DF250 applications use the underlying engine/trim platform; verify the Johnson/Evinrude model and serial.
  • Some lower-output Suzuki-built Johnson/Evinrude four-strokes use related references, but this listing should be selected by exact OEM and trim-unit configuration.
  • Not for E-TEC two-strokes, non-Suzuki OMC trim systems or motors with another bolt pattern.

Compatibility rule: match the complete engine model/serial, original OEM number, 12V two-wire system, four-bolt flange, shaft and connectors. Horsepower or appearance alone is insufficient.

Before fitting: support the outboard safely, isolate the battery, compare the old and new units and inspect hydraulic fluid, relays, connections and the mating surface.

Installation: fit the correct seal, use manufacturer torque values, then bleed and test the trim system through full travel. Professional marine installation is recommended.

Package contents: one new electric trim motor. Hydraulic pump, manifold, rams, relays, controls, fluid and unrelated hardware are not included.

Frequently asked questions

Does it fit all Johnson/Evinrude 200-250HP engines?

No. It is limited to selected Suzuki-built four-strokes using the matching OEM reference and four-bolt trim unit.

Is it compatible with E-TEC two-strokes?

No. E-TEC applications use different engine and trim-system families.

How should I confirm the correct motor?

Compare the original number, four-bolt flange, shaft, terminals, wire length and full engine model/serial.

Are seals and hydraulic parts included?

Only the electric motor is guaranteed in the package; obtain the correct seal and service parts for the exact trim unit separately unless shown.
