The YKK SNAD® is a revolutionary adhesive-backed plastic snap component that eliminates the need to drill holes into your boat's hull or deck. Designed specifically for the marine environment, these studs utilize high-performance 3M™ VHB™ acrylic foam tape to provide a permanent, water-tight bond on a variety of surfaces including fiberglass, glass, and polished metal.

INNOVATION: Constructed from automotive-grade Delrin® resin, the unique domed shape is "walk-on safe," meaning it won't snag clothing or cause discomfort if stepped on with bare feet.

How do I install this for the best bond?

Clean the surface with a 50/50 mixture of Isopropyl Alcohol and water. Peel the backing, press firmly, and allow to dwell for 72 hours for 100% bond strength before use.

Will these work on curved surfaces?

The 40mm Domed Stud has a rigid base. For highly curved surfaces, we recommend the 25mm "Flexible Base" version. However, these will adhere to slight hull curves common on marine vessels.
