A padded folding seat combining UV-resistant marine vinyl, compression foam and a high-impact moulded frame. The back folds down when not in use to reduce obstruction and protect the seating surface on compact decks.

Suitable for: fishing boats, RIBs, runabouts, centre consoles, tenders and leisure craft using a compatible pedestal, swivel or seat base.

Compatibility and selection

• Suitable for marine pedestals or swivels with the same bolt pattern and adequate load rating.
• Measure the mounting-hole centres on both axes; do not rely on the word universal.
• Confirm folded and open clearances around rails, controls, engine cover and lockers.
• The pedestal, deck reinforcement and fasteners must support the occupant and expected dynamic boat loads.
• Not supplied as a complete pedestal or swivel system.

Installation, use and package contents

• Use marine-grade stainless fasteners appropriate to the seat base and isolate dissimilar metals where necessary.
• Inspect and reinforce the deck/sub-base before installation; never screw only into thin unsupported laminate.
• Check that folding movement cannot trap fingers or strike controls.
• Wash with mild soapy water, rinse salt away and avoid solvents or abrasive cleaners.
• Keep the seat folded/covered when practical and inspect stitching, hinges and fasteners regularly.
